I have been a dental administrator for 6 years and have taken various dental and administrative courses to effectively assist patients with any questions or concerns they may have prior to being in the dental chair. I take great pride in my work and would have to say that my favorite part of the job is being able to form relationships with patients and to work for a reputable office such as Seton Family Dental Centre.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my dog, hiking, playing soccer and traveling.
I have been a dental administrator for almost 4 years now and have a range of different roles I have taken on. I take great pride in making patients experience’s as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I really enjoy creating and maintaining relationships with patients. I am thrilled to be a part of the Seton Family Dental Centre Team.
Outside of Seton Family Dental Centre, I enjoy being with my dogs and spending quality time with my husband, friends, and family. I love to travel as much as possible.
I started my career in the dental field nine years ago after graduating from KDM Dental College as a dental assistant. After working as a dental assistant in the Crowsnest Pass and Lethbridge for five years, I decided to return to school in Calgary to obtain my business administration diploma at SAIT. Since then I have primarily transitioned into working as a dental administrator, and most recently had the pleasure of joining the Seton Family Dental Centre Team. When you work with such amazing people, work hardly feels like work at all.
One of my favourite parts of my job is getting to know our equally amazing patients. I have a genuine passion for people and building those relationships that make patients a little less anxious to visit the dental office is very important to me.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, getting out to the mountains and doing anything artsy. I have a three-year-old rescue cat named BooBoo and recently got engaged and will be moving to Abbotsford, B.C., next spring.
Born and raised in Calgary, I decided to venture off to Vancouver to take Dental Hygiene at The Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene. A lot of people thought I would not return to Calgary, but there is nothing else like home. And here, at Seton Family Dental Centre, they have confirmed my decision. I really enjoy what I do as it is one of those oddly satisfying tasks.
On my free time, I love to hang out with my Pitbull fur baby named Kade. I also do aesthetics such as eyelash extensions.
Im originally from New Brunswick, and I relocated to Alberta in 2007.
After completing Dental Assisting at NAIT in 2013, I worked throughout British Columbia and Alberta. I take pride in my career and helping patients feel comfortable at each appointment. I have been lucky enough to expand my education into orthodontics as well as implant training.
Outside of work I spend time in the mountains as well as the lake and enjoy travelling as much as possible.
I began my career in the dental profession as a dental assistant 13 years ago. Since then, I have been taking continuing education to further my knowledge and skills, and to also to keep myself up to date to with what’s new in the profession. Doing so makes me feel confident that I am giving my very best not only to my work, but also to each and every patient that I see in the dental office.
My goal is to provide proper care, comfort and attention to each patient’s dental needs. To see a patient smile after their visit and to know that they are satisfied with their treatment makes my day too!
I have been working with Seton Family Dental Centre since it opened and it has been a positive experience working with this great team where everyone is treated like family.
I love to keep myself busy all the time. I enjoy baking, singing, and spending time with my family and friends. My husband, together with our two daughters also enjoy going for long drives in the countryside.
Originally from Ontario, Lysa has lived the past 15 years in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. She has since relocated to Calgary, and we are happy to have her as the newest part of our team.
With over 10 years of experience, Lysa graduated from the Dental Assisting program at NAIT in Edmonton. Prior to becoming an RDA, she studied Culinary Arts with a great passion for food.
Lysa takes a great deal of pride in her career and always keeps her education current for all aspects of her profession and was previously a council member for the College of Alberta Dental Assistants.
Outside of the dental centre, she enjoys her fur family consisting of 2 cats and 1 dog who is the size of a pony! In Lysa’s free time you will find her going on many mountain adventures with her beloved Harlow.
I have been a dental assistant for 24 years, graduating from SAIT’s dental assisting program in 1993. I take extreme pride in my work and enjoy working with patients in meeting their dental needs, creating a great smile and making their dental visits as comfortable as can be. I have experience and enjoy designing CEREC crowns offering patients a porcelain restoration done in one visit.
Outside of work, I am a mom of five who enjoys singing in a worship team, loves to watch and play soccer and have occasional hikes in the mountains.
